The novel BRCAA1 protein’s epitope, SSKKQKRSHK, was mapped to the cytoplasm of MCF7 cells. Immunohistochemistry analysis has shown that the antigen epitope exhibits positive expression in 65% of breast cancer specimens. Its expression is associated with characteristics that are associated with prognosis of breast cancer, and its sera antibody level may be helpful for breast cancer diagnosis. |
