SOX-10 is a nuclear transcription factor that is involved in the regulation of embryonic development and differentiation of cells of melanocytic lineage. Neurofibromas and schwannomas are found to express SOX-10. MO47006 is targeted towards conventional, spindled and desmoplastic melanoma and has been found to detect metastatic melanoma and nodal capsular nevus in sentinel lymph nodes. |
