Even though 2023 just started, it's already been a busy couple of weeks for our Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) in a variety of ways. We've already released a new product, been cited in a publication, and brought back into stock a couple of our most popular FBS lines. Starting with the new product, we are now offering Female-Only FBS (cat. FBS001-F). This serum is derived exclusively from the blood of female fetuses for those of you with specific applications in this area. We encourage you to check out the product to learn more.
Next up, there was research recently published referencing the use of our FBS for the culture of HEK-293 cells. Both our Premium USA Origin FBS (cat. FBS001) and Preferred FBS (cat. FBS007) were used by the researchers from Fordham University. The investigators explored the mechanisms behind the cellular internalization and the spreading of misfolded tau which has implications in Alzheimer's Disease. Lastly, we're pleased to announce that our Lipid-Depleted FBS (cat. FBS005-L) is finally back in stock and available. It's been a number of months, but we've completed production of our new lot for those who rely on it. Furthermore, since coming back into stock last month, our Preferred FBS (cat.
