Rufinamide is an anticonvulsant medication with clinical applications (1). It inhibits Nav1.1 and Nav1.6 activation (2). In gerbils, Rufinamide improved cognitive function and increased neurogenesis by increasing IGF-1, IGF-1R, and p-CREB (3).
