Human Synovial Microvascular Endothelial Cells

HSMECs initiated by elutriation from dissociated normal human synovial tissue. Passage 1 cells are shipped frozen (available proliferating culture with a confluency of >90 % upon request). ENDO-Growth medium (MED001) is recommended for culture. Cells have an average additional population doubling levels >15 when cultured.

• Cytoplasmic VWF / Factor VIII: >95% positive by immunofluorescence
• Cytoplasmic uptake of Di-I-Ac-LDL: >95% positive by immunofluorescence
• Cytoplasmic PECAM1 >95% positive by immunofluorescence

HSMECs are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, and mycoplasma.

Cells are prepared and manufactured in an ISO 9001:2015 certified environment and ISO 5 cleanroom.
