Desthiobiotin for elution of Strep-tag® II proteins from Strep-Tactin®. It displaces Strep-tag® II proteins at the biotin-binding site of Strep-Tactin® in a competitive manner resulting in a mild elution.

Desthiobiotin powder for preparation of elution buffer or ready-to-use buffer (see 2-1000-025).

Do not use for elution from Strep-Tactin®XT resin!
