We've already shared about our pride in being the official title sponsor of Sunflower State FC (SSFC), a semi-pro soccer team from Kansas City, KS, and heard about the wonderful things that SSFC players are doing off the field. Now, we couldn't be more excited to cheer them on during their outdoor season, which finally kicked off this past week!
The Sunflowers started their season off with a bang, defeating Reign Football Klub 3-1 in a preseason game. Akolade Gbadebo scored 2 goals in the victory, earning himself Neuromics Player of the Match honors.
This season, SSFC will be competing in the UPSL Midwest Conference - South Premier Division. They start off the regular season this Sunday, May 2nd, with a home game against Inter Wichita.
